Jessica Giles is the Executive Director of DFER DC. Previously, Jessica served as Interim Director and Deputy Director of DFER DC where she demonstrated her commitment to advancing equitable access to educational opportunities for every student regardless of race, background, or neighborhood.
Before joining DFER DC, Jessica worked in the DC Council's Committee on Education for four years. She helped advance key legislation that would help provide affordable childcare for families and ensure students receive high-quality education and support. Jessica earned a bachelor's degree in History from Furman University in 2009 and a master's degree in Public Policy from American University in 2013.
