DFER LA PAC Announces Four New Endorsements for 2019 Runoff Election
Election Day is Saturday, Nov. 16; Early Voting is Nov. 2-9
NEW ORLEANS, LA – Today, Democrats for Education Reform Louisiana announced four new endorsements for candidates in New Orleans and Baton Rouge who face runoff elections for seats in the Louisiana Legislature.
DFER LA State Director, Eva Kemp released the following statement alongside these endorsements: “We’re excited to endorse the following candidates along with our continued support of the six candidates we endorsed in September that face runoff elections. It’s critical that we build on the progress made and elect leaders who will move education forward in Louisiana; and this election cycle provides an opportunity to elect Democrats who champion opportunity, excellence and equity for Louisiana’s school children. We look forward to supporting these candidates as they work to finish strong in November.”
In the runoff election, DFER LA PAC is endorsing:
- House District 67: Larry Selders;
- House District 91: Robert McKnight;
- House District 97: Eugene Green; and
